Ochala tea house is owned by Christian who is French Canadian and Isabel who is Portuguese.

Christian and Isabel are friendly and welcoming as is the tea room itself.

The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. I like it very much.

Ochala tea house is where I enjoy the best value mug of coffee in Monchique.

I can recommend the food as do  many of  the regular customers.

Relaxing with a book, a magazine or even a game of chess or draughts is a nice way to pass a pleasant hour or so.

Ochala Tea house is frequented by local business people on lunch breaks, visitors to Monchique as well as regular clients wishing to meet with friends or just relax with a drink and something to eat.

Many types of tea are featured on the menu including, Black, White, Green, Oolong and Rooibos teas.

Medronho is also served and cost one euro for a single shot.
