Loads of things have happened or changed in the last couple of years since my last posting so here are some brief updates and Happy New Year to you  (can I still say that?)

Nini is now living in South Africa and the Roxy Bar in Alferce is closed. Had some good times in the Roxy Bar. Thank you Nini

Ana Silva Veterinary Clinic has moved from Pe Da Cruz to  another property it's a little further along the main road in the direction of Monchique town centre on the right hand side after the garage workshops and before the SPAR.

A new Intermarche supermarket has opened at Pe Da Cruz Monchique

I have explored more areas of Spain and Portugal,

I have had some lovely holidays in one of Kevins amazing Yurts,

I have been flying around some of the beaches of the Algarve with my paraglider,

and many more things I want to talk about.

26th August event at Launceston's Acoustic Cafe
Check out this great line up at the next Acoustic Cafe

Jericho's Brasserie in Liberty house Launceston was packed out again on Thursday evening because of the Acoustic Cafe which is held on the last Thursday of every month. This venue is so popular that people are booking tables for the September 30th event already!

Frederick has a great voice and for tonights set he sang covers of  "Love will tear us apart"  by The Joy Division, "Knocking on heavens door" by Bob Dylan, "Behind blue eyes" by The Who, and two of  their own original songs "Coffee shop blues" and "Like a Storm" by The Metro Men. These guys will be supporting Jamie Murphy and his band Six is Out at Jericho's on the 25th September. Come along for an excellent night out in Launceston

All the bands and musicians were excellent and gave the audience a great night of entertainment.

Mel as usual laid on a massive amount of fabulous food and good night was had by all.
